As soon as the counting of votes for Maharashtra Municipal Corporation Elections 2026 has started, a big political signal has started emerging. In the initial trends, BJP has taken lead in big cities like Thane, Nagpur, Bhiwandi and Pimpri-Chinchwad, due to which the concern of Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar faction seems to be increasing. The entire Maharashtra is keeping an eye on this counting being done for 29 municipal corporations.
