Through the Global Capability Centers (GCC) policy, the state government has given a new direction to the startup and innovation ecosystem. This policy has full potential to establish Uttar Pradesh as the strongest technological and entrepreneurship hub of India. This effort of Yogi government is linked to the vision of strengthening the knowledge-based economy along with employment generation.
90 GCC in the state, target of more than one thousand
At present about 90 Global Capability Centers are functioning in Uttar Pradesh. The government aims to increase their number to more than one thousand in the coming time. This will increase the presence of global companies in the state and will give a new dimension to technological investment.
GCC to strengthen innovation-based economy
In the policy of Yogi government, GCC is not seen merely as a back-office unit.
