Two spices should be added less in radish-carrot pickle. If you add asafoetida even a little, it suppresses the taste of all the spices. Similarly, fenugreek seeds are also a source of qualities and it is definitely added to the pickle spices, but if you are making carrot-radish pickle then add less fenugreek seeds, otherwise the pickle becomes bitter. Digestion can get spoiled due to excess asafoetida.
