Rain is becoming a havoc of nature in Maharashtra. The situation has worsened in many areas. From trains to buses and flights have been cancelled. Many vehicles parked on the roads were buried under debris and falling trees. Meanwhile, rain is wreaking havoc in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar today.

Today on Tuesday, the worst condition in Maharashtra is Nashik and Trimbakeshwar. Where the clouds have burst so much that deluge is visible all around. Trimbakeshwar temple will remain closed for devotees today due to rain. Whereas in Nashik, many small temples have been submerged in water.

Flood hits Mumbai
It has been raining heavily in Mumbai for the last 48 hours. Mayanagari has recorded 15 inches (380 mm) of rainfall so far. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Tuesday. Apart from this, holiday has been declared in all government and private schools and colleges of Mumbai.

State government issued red alert
In view of the heavy rains in Maharashtra, the state government has ordered all the district administrations to immediately survey the damage. Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule gave this information on Tuesday. He said that the government is trying to provide relief to those who have suffered losses as soon as possible.

Meteorological Department issued red alert
The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for Mumbai, Kolhapur, Satara, Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri districts. The Meteorological Department has predicted moderate rainfall at different places in these areas.
