Actor Sunil Shetty appealed to the people to vote in the BMC elections. He expressed the need for cooperation with BMC to improve Mumbai. Other celebrities like Anand Pandit and Manish Paul also cast their votes.
Mumbai: Actor Suniel Shetty on Thursday cast his vote in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections and appealed to the people to participate enthusiastically in what he termed as one of the most important civic elections. Speaking after casting his vote here, he stressed on everyone’s responsibility to improve the city.
Shetty said, “I think this is one of the most important elections ever, so everyone should come out and cast their vote. We keep complaining about the work of BMC. Today we should also do some work.”
Emphasizing on cooperation between citizens and civic authorities, the actor further said, “We need to be with the BMC and help them in making Mumbai better.” Film producer Anand Pandit and actor Manish Paul also cast their votes in the BMC elections.
