The wife, her lover and an accomplice have been arrested for the murder of her husband in Nizamabad, Telangana. The husband, who had returned from the Gulf, was first pushed from the terrace and then murdered by giving an injection. All three have confessed to their crime.
Nizamabad (Telangana) [भारत]July 7 (ANI): Telangana Police have arrested a woman, her alleged lover and another accomplice for the alleged murder of her husband in Nizamabad district, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Ravi, who had returned to his native village from the Gulf on June 27 and died under suspicious circumstances on June 30. According to police, the victim’s 60-year-old father, also named Ravi, lodged a complaint raising suspicion over his son’s death. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case and started investigation.
Wife, lover and partner arrested
During investigation, investigators found that the deceased’s wife, Sandhya, 32, was allegedly having an affair with Anil, 35, a resident of Indrapuri Colony, Nizamabad. Police alleged that Sandhya and Anil conspired to kill Ravi and took the help of 25-year-old Venkat Sai of Nyalkal village.
Creepy murder plot
According to the investigation, on June 29, Venkat Sai came to Ravi’s house, drank alcohol with him and, allegedly acting on Sandhya’s instructions over the phone, took him to the rooftop of a building and pushed him from there. Ravi suffered injuries due to the fall but survived. Police said Sandhya and Venkat Sai took him to Nizamabad District Hospital for treatment, then admitted him to a private hospital and later brought him back home.
Later that night, acting on Anil’s instructions, Sandhya allegedly used an injection mixed with sleeping pills to render Ravi unconscious, police said. Police said that after this the accused threw him down from the bed, due to which he died. According to the police, all three accused have confessed to their crime during the investigation. He was produced before the magistrate and sent to judicial custody.
Talking about the case, the police officer said, “A 60-year-old man named Ravi had lodged a complaint that his 35-year-old son Ravi, who had returned from the Gulf on June 27, died under suspicious circumstances on June 30. During the investigation, we found that the deceased’s wife Sandhya was having an affair with Anil. The two allegedly conspired to murder Ravi and took the help of Venkat Sai.”
The officer further said, “The accused first pushed the victim from the terrace after drinking alcohol with him, but he survived the fall. They took him to the hospital for treatment and later brought him home. Following this, Sandhya allegedly gave him an injection with sleeping pills to render him unconscious, following which the accused caused his death. All three have confessed to their crime. They have been arrested and produced before a magistrate and sent to judicial custody.” (ANI)
