How to do Ghatasthapana during Gupt Navratri

On the first day of Gupt Navratri, take bath in the morning and wear clean and neat clothes. Clean the puja place thoroughly and spread a red or yellow cloth on a wooden post in the north-east direction. After this, sow barley in a vessel filled with soil and place a pot filled with water on top of it. Place mango leaves in the kalash and place coconut on top. Then meditate on Maa Durga and worship her as per the rituals. Light a lamp, offer flowers, akshat, roli, sandalwood and fruits during the puja.
