After receiving the information, fire tenders reached the spot and within a few hours the fire was brought under control and completely extinguished. There has been no casualty in the incident.

Fire controlled after two and a half hours of effort

Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar said, “We received information around 11:15 pm that a fire had broken out in a company in Sector 88, Block B. Right from the beginning, it was reported to be a major fire, so we immediately sent fire tenders to the spot. On arrival, we found that the fire had engulfed both the ground and the first floor. The company was closed at that time. We deployed a total of eight fire tenders and responded for about two and a half hours.” The fire was completely extinguished with great effort. Since the premises was closed, no one was trapped inside and there were no casualties.”

Asked about the possible cause of the fire, Kumar said, “The security guard saw smoke coming from the back; it seems that the fire started due to a short circuit in an electrical panel. By the time we were informed, the fire had spread significantly. However, we extinguished the fire on both the floors and there is no loss of life.” (ANI)
