Motorola Signature Price in India, Specifications, Launch Date Tipped:

Motorola is preparing to launch its flagship Signature smartphone in India. The device made its global debut last week and stands as the most premium offering in the company’s current lineup.

While Motorola has yet to officially confirm the India launch date or pricing, fresh details have now surfaced online, shedding light on both aspects.

Motorola Signature Launch Date in India

According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the Motorola Signature launch date in India will take place on January 23, 2026. Following the launch, the handset will go on sale in India through Flipkart and Motorola’s Indian website as well as through offline retailers.

Moreover, the tipster also notes that the box price (MRP) for the Motorola Signature is Rs. 84,999 for the top-end 16GB/1TB variant. This suggests that the Motorola Signature price in India will start from under Rs 80,000 for the 16GB/1TB variant.

However, the handset will likely also be offered in other configurations. We can expect the base configuration of the Motorola Signature to fall under Rs 60,000 in India. To recall, the Motorola Signature with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage will set you back EUR 899.99 (approximately ₹82,000).

Motorola Signature Specifications

The Motorola Signature is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage on global variants. The phone runs Android 16, includes several Moto AI features, and Motorola promises seven years of Android OS and security updates for this first Signature series device.

The Motorola Signature uses a 6.8 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals. The panel delivers up to 6,200 nits peak brightness, supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The screen is also Pantone Color and SkinTone certified for colour accuracy.

 

 

On the back, the Motorola Signature features three cameras, led by a 50MP Sony Lytia 828 main sensor with optical image stabilisation and an f/1.6 aperture. It is joined by a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 122 degree field of view and macro mode, plus a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 periscope camera offering 3x optical zoom.

The Motorola Signature includes a 50MP Sony Lytia 500 front camera with autofocus for selfies. Power comes from a 5,200 mAh battery that supports 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging, along with reverse wired charging at 10W and reverse wireless charging at 5W for accessories or other phones.

Durability features on the Motorola Signature include IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, plus MIL STD 810H certification. The phone remains slim at 6.99mm and weighs 186 grams. Audio is handled by dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and tuning by Bose, while colour options include Pantone Carbon and Pantone Martini Olive.
