In Bhopal, School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh reviewed the construction works of the School Education Department. He gave instructions to complete the work within the time limit, create a technical wing for monthly monitoring and quality checking.
Bhopal. In the capital, School Education and Transport Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh reviewed in detail the ongoing construction works under the School Education Department in the Ministry. In this meeting, the progress of the work being done by various working agencies was discussed.
The work of many construction agencies was reviewed
In the meeting, the status of construction projects run by agencies like Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Board, Rural Engineering Services, PIU, IDA, BDA, UDA and Building Development Corporation was reviewed. During this, Secretary School Education Dr. Sanjay Goyal and Commissioner Directorate of Public Instruction Smt. Shilpa Gupta were also present.
Strict instructions to complete the work within the stipulated time limit
Minister Shri Singh gave clear instructions to all the agencies that all the construction works should be completed within the stipulated time-limit. He said that strict action will be taken against the agency which does not complete the work on time as per the terms of the contract.
Emphasis on monthly monitoring and setting phased targets
The Minister directed that the progress of construction works should be reviewed every month. Along with this, the work should be completed in a planned manner by setting step-by-step and month-by-month targets. Instructions were also given to all the agencies to submit their clear action plan to the department.
Technical wing will be created to monitor construction quality
To ensure the quality of construction works, Minister Shri Singh directed to set up a technical wing in the School Education Department. This wing will function as a departmental inspection team and will regularly check the quality, progress and standards of construction. He said that it is necessary to develop a strong check and balance system.
Third party inspection report mandatory
The Minister directed all agencies to compulsorily submit third party inspection reports to the department, so that impartial and technical scrutiny of construction works can be ensured.
Review on the infrastructure of Sandipani schools also
In the meeting, the construction works related to laboratories, additional rooms, sports grounds and other educational infrastructure related to Sandipani schools were also reviewed in detail.
