Head recovered from drum, accused arrested
On receiving the information, the police searched the house, where the woman’s head was recovered from inside a drum. CO Sirsaganj Anivesh Singh said that important evidence related to the case has been collected and the main accused husband has been arrested.
On getting information about the incident, the deceased’s brother Sanjeev Dixit reached the spot and lodged a complaint with the police. He alleged that Ashutosh and his brothers together had committed this heinous crime. Sanjeev also told that his sister was beaten earlier also due to property dispute.
The police have registered the case on the basis of the complaint and the accused is being thoroughly interrogated. Besides, it is also being investigated who else was involved in this murder.
