Ishant Sharma Captain: Team India’s fast bowler Ishant Sharma was made the captain of Delhi team in Vijay Hazare Trophy. Ishant Sharma was appointed captain just before the quarter-final match, due to the exclusion of Rishabh Pant and Ayush Badoni. Actually, Rishabh Pant, who was leading Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, got injured just before the New Zealand ODI series and was ruled out of both the ODI series and Vijay Hazare Trophy. Ayush Badoni has been selected in Team India for the next two ODI matches and due to this he is not playing the quarter-finals of Vijay Hazare Trophy, as a result 37-year-old Ishant Sharma was made the captain of Delhi.
