Bangladesh, T20 World Cup 2026: There is news that the cricket high command ICC has completely rejected Bangladesh’s demand to change the venue of T20 World Cup matches. Bangladesh Cricket Board was repeatedly appealing to ICC regarding change of venue. He was citing security. But, now the report is that after examining everything, ICC has reached its final conclusion.

ICC not ready to meet Bangladesh’s demands

If sources are to be believed, the ICC investigated security related reasons in its investigation and found that there is no threat to any Bangladeshi player during the tournament. T20 World Cup 2026 is starting from 7th February, in which Bangladesh team has to start its campaign on the opening day itself.

This stand of ICC also refutes the claim of Asif Nazrul, advisor to the Sports Ministry of Bangladesh, which said that the inclusion of Mustafizur Rahman in the team will increase the danger. An ICC source told PTI on condition of anonymity that it is important to clarify that the ICC’s independent risk assessment conducted by internationally recognized security experts does not conclude that Bangladesh cannot play its scheduled matches in India.
