The POCO M8 5G is going on sale in India at 12:00 pm (IST) today via Flipkart. The POCO M8 5G price in India starts from Rs 18,999 for the base 6GB/128GB model. Moreover, it is also offered in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations that will set you back Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999, respectively.
As part of a 12-hour exclusive launch offer, the POCO M8 5G will be available starting from Rs 15,999 for the base model, Rs 16,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant, and Rs 18,999 for the top-end configuration.
This price will include a discount of Rs 2,000 using ICICI, HDFC, and SBI Bank credit and debit cards as well as a launch benefit of Rs 1,000. The POCO M8 5G is offered in Carbon Black, Glacial Blue, and Frost Silver shades.
POCO M8 5G Specifications
The POCO M8 5G features a 6.77-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, support for 68.7 billion colours, and Wet Touch 2.0. The phone carries IP65 and IP66 dust and water resistance, measures 164 × 75.42 × 7.35mm, and weighs around 178g, giving the M series a slimmer, more refined, and durable design than before.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. POCO claims an AnTuTu score of over 825,000 points, positioning the M8 5G as a strong mid-range performer for gaming and multitasking.
The POCO M8 5G packs a 5,520mAh silicon-carbon battery with 45W fast charging and 18W reverse charging. The brand promises five years of battery health and backs the phone with SGS MIL-STD-810 military-grade certification.
Camera hardware includes a 50MP primary rear camera, a 2MP secondary sensor, and a 20MP front camera, with support for up to 4K video recording and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
On the software front, the phone runs Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0 and is promised four years of Android updates and six years of security patches. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C, catering well to India’s expanding 5G network.
