Then Dulla Bhatti set fire to the fields of Numberdar on the day of Lohri and pretended to be the brother of Sundari and Mundri and got them married. Lohri fire is lit in memory of this incident. It is said that on the orders of Akbar, Dulla Bhatti was caught and hanged.
