Pride of these things becomes the reason for man’s destruction, it is told in Geeta

Knowledge of Srimad Bhagavad Gita

Gita Wisdom: Srimad Bhagavad Gita is a special and important Hindu scripture. This is based on the advice which Lord Krishna gave to Arjun in the Mahabharata war of Kurukshetra. By adopting the teachings of Geeta, even the biggest difficulties of life can be overcome. The teachings of Geeta given by Lord Krishna help humans in making life easy and beautiful.

In Srimad Bhagavad Gita, Shri Krishna has said that a person should live a simple life and should not show arrogance about anything. In Geeta, God has told many such things about which a person should not be proud even by mistake. It is said in Geeta that pride in certain things ruins a person’s life and becomes the cause of his destruction.

One should never boast about these things

Knowledge: It is said in Srimad Bhagavad Gita that a person should not be proud of his knowledge even by mistake. Therefore do not be proud of knowledge. It is said in Geeta that a wise person should always show humility. It is not considered wise to boast about knowledge and intelligence. It does not take long for knowledge to be destroyed due to pride in knowledge.

Beauty and Youth: One should not show pride in beauty and youth. It is said in Geeta that beauty and youth are never permanent in human life. It gets molded with time. Those who are proud of their own beauty and make fun of others, their souls are not considered pure. It is said in Geeta that a person should focus on purifying the soul more than beauty. Purity of thoughts matters more than the body.

Money and property: Showing pride in wealth and property is prohibited in Geeta. A person who shows off his wealth and dominates others is doomed to destruction. Taking pride in wealth disrespects Goddess Lakshmi, hence do not do so even by mistake.

High Total: According to Geeta, one should not be proud of one’s family and high caste. Being born in a high family is not considered great. A person should never humiliate others by boasting about his family nor should he misuse the authority of family or power. A person who does this will definitely be rejected in the society one day.
