What is the whole matter?
This matter is of Sector-39 police station area. According to the complaint given to the police, a person resident of Unnao was living with his family in a house in Salarpur along with his mother since the year 2022. His real brother’s family also lived in the same house. It is alleged that during this period, younger brother’s son Arvind developed a relationship with the complainant’s 18-year-old daughter. This relationship gradually reached physical relations and the girl became pregnant.
Abortion medicine and worsening condition
When the accused youth came to know about the girl’s pregnancy, he tried to hide the matter. It is alleged that Arvind gave abortion medicine to the girl. After consuming the medicine, the girl’s health suddenly deteriorated. When his family found his condition serious, he was admitted to Noida District Hospital on 18 December.

Seeing the critical condition of the girl, the doctors referred her to Safdarjung Hospital. The family members were hopeful that their daughter would be saved, but fate had something else in store. The girl died during treatment on 23 December. There was chaos in the family as soon as the news of death was received.
Police investigation and arrest
After the death of the girl, on the complaint of the family members, the police registered a case against the accused Arvind and arrested him. ACP Praveen Singh said that initial investigation revealed that the girl died due to anemia. The entire matter is being investigated in depth and after completion of the investigation, other serious sections including POCSO Act can also be increased.
