India-America trade deal may be finalized on January 13. American Ambassador Sergio Gore gave this information in New Delhi on Monday. Gaur says that PM Modi and Trump are real friends. He says that real friends may have differences of opinion but not differences of opinion. Whatever confusion there is between the two will be resolved soon. Earlier, a proposal to impose 500 percent tariff on India was passed in the US Parliament, after which America made a sharp comment on the deal, to which the Indian Foreign Ministry responded.
US Ambassador to India Sergio Gore, while assuming charge in New Delhi on Monday, said that India-US relations are based on true friendship. He also indicated that trade talks would continue between the two countries. Gore said that true friends may sometimes disagree, but they resolve their differences. He told that the next round of talks is expected to take place on January 13. Gore also made it clear that despite differences on issues like tariffs and market access, the two countries are in constant touch. With this statement of Gore, it is hoped that the long pending deal between India and America can be sealed.

The US Ambassador said that I am happy to inform that India will be invited to join PaxSilica as a full member next month. Explaining further, he said that today I want to inform you all about a new initiative named PaxSilica, which America has started last month. PaxSilica is a US-led strategic initiative aimed at creating a secure, robust, and innovation-driven silicon supply chain ranging from critical minerals and energy sources to advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and logistics.
Gore further said that this initiative aims to increase cooperation between partner countries across the entire silicon value chain, from raw materials to advanced technology and logistics. He told that the countries that joined it last month include Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom and Israel and said that with the joining of India, this group will become stronger. According to the ambassador, Paxsilica has already partnered with Australia, Japan, South Korea, United Kingdom, Singapore and Israel. Its formal announcement was made at the PaxSilica Summit held in Washington DC.
Market recovered rapidly
There was a huge decline in the stock market for 6 consecutive days. On Monday also the equity market had gone down by about 700 points. But as soon as a positive statement came from the American Ambassador on the trade deal. After that the market recovered 700 points within some time. Till the time of writing the news, the market’s main index Sensex is trading at 83,638.45 with a rise of about 63 points.
