Venue of Bangladesh matches will change

According to the report of Cricbuzz, there is little possibility that the venue of Bangladesh’s matches will be shifted to Sri Lanka. It has been said in that report that there is a greater possibility that the matches of Bangladesh should be shifted to South India. Meaning the matches can be held in Chennai and Thiruvananthapuram instead of Kolkata and Mumbai.

In response to the protests against the killing of Hindus in Bangladesh, BCCI had expelled Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman from IPL. As a reaction to that action of BCCI, Bangladesh Cricket Board had emailed ICC demanding from them to change the venue of their T20 World Cup 2026 matches. Bangladesh had asked ICC to shift its matches from India to Sri Lanka.
