Ketan Aggarwal died on June 18 while trekking at Lohgarh Fort. Initially this incident was being treated as an accident, but later the police found evidence which showed that his death could be a premeditated conspiracy.
Investigators have alleged that Ketan’s fiancee Sia Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary were involved in the conspiracy. Both have been arrested in this case and sent to judicial custody. The investigation is still going on and the allegations against him are yet to be proved in the court. According to the allegations, Sia Goyal and her lover Chetan Chaudhary had planned together to kill her businessman fiance Ketan Aggarwal, because Sia was not happy with their upcoming marriage.
It is being said that both of them had gone to Lohgarh Fort a day earlier and rehearsed the crime. While trekking, Siya gave a pre-arranged signal to Chetan to push Ketan off the cliff, and also ensured that she herself stayed away from his grip. Sia had initially tried to mislead investigators by describing the murder as a tragic slip-fall accident.
