This Telugu action thriller film directed by Suresh Krishna was average. Its remake in Bengali is ‘Lover No. 1’, in which Bobby Choudhary played the lead role. Director Suresh Krishna made a Hindi remake of this film named ‘Rocky: The Rebel’, in which Zayed Khan had the lead role. This film was released in 2006 and was a flop. Later the original Telugu film was also dubbed and released in Hindi with the name ‘Sanyasi’.
