Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Smart Industrial Park will be developed on 173 acres in Satgarhi, Bhopal. This will promote 15 thousand employment, investment and modern industrial facilities.
Bhopal. With the aim of developing Madhya Pradesh as a major industrial and investment center of the country, new industrial projects are being continuously worked on under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. In this direction, ‘Dr.’ is being developed in Satgarhi area of Bhopal on 6th July. Bhoomi pujan and foundation stone laying ceremony of ‘Syama Prasad Mukherjee Smart Industrial Park’ will be done.
More than 200 industrialists, investors and representatives of various industrial organizations from the state and the country will participate in this program organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. This project is being considered an important achievement in the industrial development journey of Madhya Pradesh.
Smart Industrial Park will be developed in 173 acres
This smart industrial park, to be developed on about 173 acres of land in Satgarhi, will become the new center of industrial expansion in Bhopal and surrounding areas. Here, smart infrastructure will be created as per the future needs including modern industrial infrastructure, wide roads, better transport facilities, IT and Artificial Intelligence based services, modern logistics and warehousing complex. The objective of this project is to provide world class facilities to the investors so that industrial investment can be promoted on a large scale in the state.
The park will be developed on ‘work-live-grow’ model
This smart industrial park will be developed on the basis of ‘work-live-grow’ model. Under this, not only industries will be established, but skill development, innovation, modern lifestyle and essential civic amenities will also be coordinated development.
There are plans to set up industries related to high value manufacturing, garment, toys, IT, artificial intelligence, logistics and new technologies in the park. This will lead to balanced expansion of industrial activities in the capital Bhopal and will also create new investment opportunities.
Kolar area will become a new center of industry and investment
This project is expected to change the face of Kolar area, which till now has been mainly known as a residential area. After the construction of Smart Industrial Park, this area will emerge as a major center of investment, industry and employment. It is estimated that more than 15 thousand direct and indirect employment opportunities will be created through this project, which will benefit the youth of Bhopal and surrounding areas the most. Besides, increasing industrial and commercial activities will also give new impetus to the local economy.
World class convention and exhibition center will be built on 25 acres
One of the most special features of this project will be a world class convention and exhibition centre. This complex, to be built in an area of about 25 acres, will have a capacity of more than 10 thousand people. National and international level investor conferences, trade exhibitions, industrial events and global business events can be organized here. This is likely to give Bhopal a new identity as a leading MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) destination in Central India.
Investors will get big benefits from better connectivity
This project is also considered very important from strategic point of view. Satgarhi area will be better connected to Raja Bhoj International Airport, Rani Kamlapati Railway Station, Kolar Road and the proposed Western Bypass.
