According to Premanand Maharaj, the principle of karma is the supreme justice system of God. He says that just as if someone commits a crime in this world, he does not get punished on the same day, similarly in the court of God, the fruits of one’s deeds are not given immediately.
Maharaj says, “If someone commits murder today, will he be hanged the same day? No. First the trial starts, witnesses are gathered, it takes time to reach the verdict.” As an example, he explains that the deeds of our previous births also come under a wonderful and vast judicial system. There is no need for any testimony, recommendation or bribe in the court of God.
Premanand ji says that only truth and justice prevail there. According to him, as vast as the universe is, the account of our deeds is equally vast. That’s why sometimes the results of hundreds of births also appear at some stage of life.
Premanand Maharaj says that God’s court is very big and complete account of countless living beings and infinite people is kept there. For this reason the register of deeds opens late.
He says, “We think that sin may have been forgotten by now, but God never forgets. He just waits for the right time.” Maharaj explains that only when the page of that divine register opens, the living being bears the fruits of both his good and bad deeds. According to him, the law of karma is such that it cannot be avoided. Sometimes injustice happens in the world, but not in the court of God.
According to Premanand Maharaj, the human body is a very rare opportunity. He says that it is easy to sin, but its consequences can be very difficult. Therefore he always inspires people to do good deeds, follow the truth and chant the name of God.
Maharaj explains that “If you dedicate even a few minutes of the day to your deity, the mind will become calm and life will start moving towards its goal.” They say that chanting the name purifies the mind and gives pure direction to the actions. According to him, remembering God not only purifies the person internally but also helps in untying the knots of karma.
