YRF spy universe’s first female-lead action film ‘Alpha’ registered a steady growth in its opening weekend collections, but the audience’s enthusiasm was not as expected. After the release of the film, it is being continuously trolled on social media regarding the story, action sequences and some glamorous scenes. Not only this, the very low rating on IMDb has also intensified the discussion. Although the film performed better at the box office on Sunday and strengthened its opening weekend figures, now all eyes are on its earnings and word of mouth in the coming days.
Alpha Box Office Collection: How much business did the film do over the weekend?
Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh starrer ‘Alpha’ opened with a nett collection of Rs 9.25 crore on the first day. On the second day, the film’s earnings increased to Rs 11.50 crore. On Sunday, the film did a business of Rs 13.25 crore, which is 15.2% more than Saturday. In this way, the domestic net collection of the film reached Rs 34 crore in three days. The film was screened in more than 7,400 shows across the country.

How much is Alpha Worldwide Collection?
‘Alpha’, directed by Shiv Rawail, has earned a gross of Rs 40.80 crore in India, while in the overseas market the film has earned Rs 5 crore on the third day. The total gross collection of the film abroad in three days has reached Rs 18 crore. Overall, the gross collection of this film at the worldwide box office has reached Rs 58.80 crore.
Alpha IMDb Rating: Why did the rating of ‘Alpha’ surprise you?
Along with the box office, the IMDb rating of the film also remains a topic of discussion. According to reports, the film has got a rating of only 2.4 out of 10. It is being told that this is the lowest IMDb rating film of YRF Spy Universe till date. Besides, it is also being counted among the weakest ratings of Indian films in recent years.
