Nikki Bhati Death Case: A new twist has come in the Noida dowry scandal. According to the NDTV report, Nikki’s sister -in -law Meenakshi alleged that the Pala family sold the Ciaz car found at the wedding and asked for Scorpio and cash dowry. There was also talk of a return of 35 lakhs in the panchayat.

Till now, Nikki Bhati’s in -laws were being accused of dowry harassment, but latest revelations have also raised questions on the role of her maternal uncle. Nikki’s sister -in -law Meenakshi, who is a separate wife of her brother Rohit Pala, has alleged that she too had to face dowry harassment.
Meenakshi’s charge: Car told inauspicious, asked for new Scorpio
Rohit and Meenakshi were married in 2016. Meenakshi claims that her family gave Maruti Suzuki Ciaz car in dowry at the wedding. However, his in -laws sold him as “inauspicious” and then demanded the Scorpio SUV and cash of a new model. When this demand was not met, Meenakshi was sent to the maternal home.

Case raised in panchayat, compensation of Rs 35 lakh
Meenakshi said that the matter reached the village panchayat, where it was advised that either Rs 35 lakh spent on marriage should be returned to her family so that she could get a second marriage, or the in -laws should accept her as a daughter -in -law. However, the dispute could not be resolved and it is alleged that the family, including Nikki’s father Bhikhari Singh Pala, never adopted it.
Silence on allegations and guns in controversy
According to the NDTV report, when Rohit Pala was questioned on these allegations, he said- “I do not want to say anything on the matter. These are the only allegations.” At the same time, a person from his side claimed that the dispute increased so much that even the guns between the two families were stretched. He defended the Pala family and said- “The fight is in every house, at least we have not burnt the girl.”
Interestingly, Nikki’s in -laws, who are accused of killing her, also tried to resolve the controversy. The arrested father -in -law Satyaveer Singh had allegedly assured Meenakshi’s father that he would help to get the money from Bhikhari Singh Pala. He also tried to intervene several times and make a compromise.
