Big preparations for relief from traffic in Lucknow, new elevated road will be built from Telibagh to PGI
There is news of relief for the people of Lucknow who are struggling with jams, horns and crawling vehicles. The administration has started taking big and concrete decisions to improve the deteriorating traffic system of the city. From the arbitrariness of auto-e-rickshaws to the pressure at bus stands and the increasing traffic load at intersections, every problem has been brainstormed. In this context, a decision has been taken to build a new elevated road to relieve the city from the jam.
With the aim of bringing the traffic system back on track in Lucknow, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Divisional Commissioner with the Police, Traffic Department and other concerned departments. In the meeting, those areas where there is maximum traffic pressure were identified. Instructions have been given to build flyovers, foot overbridges and elevated roads in these areas, so that the traffic burden can be reduced.
