How did a rat ride Ganesh ji?
Ganesh ji’s ride is mainly a mouse. It is believed that once the arrogant Gandharva named Kruncha insulted the sage named Vamdev, which enraged and cursed the Crunch to become a rat. When he turned into a huge rat, he caused terror by harming the surrounding area. After this, when the sages praised Lord Shri Ganesha, they tied it to their loop. When the rat apologized to Ganapati, he made his ride to remove his pride.
