Sanatani became a Muslim woman with both children.
An emotional and historical moment was seen in Bageshwar Maharaj’s Shrirammay Hanuman Chalisa Katha going on in Amgaon of Gondia district of Maharashtra. On the fourth day of the story, before the Katha Viram Aarti, a Muslim woman resident of Gondia Nagar along with her two children voluntarily adopted Sanatan Dharma.
Bageshwar Maharaj i.e. Pandit Dhirendra Shastri invited the woman and her two children on the stage. Then he told the present devotees that the process of religious conversion has been done completely legally and impartially through a notarized affidavit under the administrative rules before coming on the stage. After this, all three were welcomed into Sanatan Dharma from the Katha Manch.
On this occasion, Bageshwar Maharaj i.e. Pandit Dhirendra Shastri formally welcomed the woman and her children by applying tilak and wearing a plaque. The woman’s previous name was Parveen Moussim Sheikh, daughter’s name was Jumeirah Mosin Sheikh and son’s name was Raza Mousin Sheikh. After adopting Sanatan Dharma, the woman was named Jaya Jackie Das, the son was named Raju Jackie Das and the daughter was named Jai Shri Jackie Das.

‘A son was born by the grace of Mother Kali’
While sharing her experiences from the stage, Jaya Jackie Das said that she did not feel comfortable while living in Muslim society. She has been worshiping Baba Mahakal and Maa Kali for a long time and considers her son as the blessing of Maa Kali. She told that for the last few months, she was regularly watching sermons and videos of Bageshwar Maharaj. On getting information about the story in Amgaon, she herself contacted and reached the place of the story and without any pressure or fear, she voluntarily adopted Sanatan Dharma.

It is noteworthy that lakhs of devotees are coming to the Katha Pandal every day to enjoy the Katha. In the same sequence, through Katha Manch, the process of returning home of people who were formerly Hindu and adopting Sanatan Dharma by families coming from other religions is also continuing.
