Raipur suicide case: In Chhattisgarh, a husband committed suicide by his wife refusing to make egg curry. This incident is from Shankar village under Sihawa police station area of Dhamtari district. A forty -year -old man named Tiku Ram Sen hanged his life by hanging from a tree near his house on Monday evening. Tiku Ram, who reached home on Monday evening, requested his wife to make egg curry. Tiku Ram came home with eggs. But his wife refused to make egg curry.
The wife told her husband that she is going to fast for the next day to eat ‘Karu Bhat’, so she cannot make egg curry. Married women in Chhattisgarh eat Karu Bhat (a bitter gourd) a day before the Teej festival. This food is eaten before fasting the next day for longevity and prosperity of husbands.
But Tiku Ram Sen got upset due to his wife’s answer. After this he went out of the house. Did not return home for a long time. Later on search, Tiku Ram’s body was found hanging from a tree in the village. The body has been sent for post -mortem. Police has started the investigation of the matter.
