EPFO 3.0 is coming
Employees Provident Fund Organization ie EPFO is bringing a new digital platform named EPFO 3.0 for its more than 8 crore members. PF services with this new system will now become easier, faster and transparent. Initially it was to be launched in June, but there was a slight delay due to technical investigation. Large IT companies like Infosys, Wipro and TCS are working on this project. According to media reports, the launch has been delayed due to investigation, but officials say that this new platform will soon be available to all members. This modern system will make PF services even more simple, faster and reliable in future.
Withdraw PF’s money directly from ATM
In this new system, you will be able to withdraw your PF money directly from ATM. For this, just link your Aadhaar card to the bank account and activate the Universal Account Number (UAN). With this, now you will be able to withdraw money from your PF account without going to office. EPFO 3.0 will also have the facility to extract funds from UPI. Meaning whenever an emergency comes, you will be able to withdraw money from your PF account immediately through UPI. This will help rapidly in the need for money.
Can update everything online
The process of improving online claims and information in EPFO 3.0 has also been made completely digital. Now employees will be able to update name, date of birth or other personal details through OTP verification on their mobiles. This will not only save time, but will also eliminate the problems of repeated documents or the problems of circling the officials. With this, if the PF member dies and his minor children want to claim, then they will not need a parent certificate. With this change, the family will get financial help at the earliest.
PF will get every information at a glance
The EPFO 3.0 will come with a new design digital dashboard, so that members will be able to easily see their monthly deposit, claim status and full information of the account. This is a big step towards transparency and self -sufficiency.
These necessary changes are already applicable
The organization has implemented many important reforms in the last few months before the launch of EPFO 3.0. Now KYC verification is done very fast through Aadhaar card, due to which the employees do not have to wait long. Also, the facility of improvement in name and other personal information has also been provided online, due to which the need for office has reduced. On changing the job, the transfer of PF account has also become much faster than before. All these reforms are part of the digital revolution of EPFO, which are making the functioning easier as well as making employees aware and self-sufficient about their PF account.
