It is being claimed that during the last two years, 18 women in Nagpur, Maharashtra were suffering from kidney related problems and during the investigation one thing in common was found that all of them were allegedly using Goree Beauty Cream. Meanwhile, many claims regarding the lab test of Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are also going viral on social media. However, the final report of the concerned investigating agencies and legal action in this matter is awaited.
What is the whole matter?
Health content creator Chirag Barjatya, in a post on social media, claimed that doctors in Nagpur observed a similar pattern in patients with kidney-related complaints. After this, samples of Goree Beauty Cream allegedly being used were sent to Maharashtra FDA for testing. According to the post, lab tests found the cream contained 752 times more mercury than the legal limit. However, there is no independently available official confirmation of this claim. In such cases, the final conclusion is considered only on the basis of the investigation report of the concerned government agencies.
