It has been raining so heavily for the last 24 hours that people have been confined to their homes. The roads have become rivers. There is an outcry among the people due to this havoc of nature.

Mumbai’s roads became rivers
Many accidents are taking place due to heavy rains in different areas of Mumbai. The situation has become such that roads have become rivers and trees have started falling on the roadside. So far, three to four people have died due to the falling of these trees. Some have also been injured.
People leaving their homes in fear of water
Houses built in many low lying areas of Mumbai have been flooded. BMC and NDRF teams reached the spot and evacuated these people from their homes to a safe place. Some people’s houses are knee-deep in water while others are waist-deep in water.

Cars worth lakhs of rupees are being shattered
About 20 cars have been submerged in water in Mumbai. So dozens of cars have been completely shattered due to trees falling on them. However, the good thing is that there were no passengers in these cars.

Let us tell you that the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for Mumbai and Raigarh districts on Sunday. In some areas of the city, more than 400 to 500 millimeters (mm) of rain has been recorded in the last 24 hours.
