Lungi Ngidi took a hat-trick in the match played against Pretoria Capitals and Durban Super Giants on 7 January. He did this feat on the second, third and fourth balls of the 18th over of the Durban Super Giants’ innings. First he dismissed David Viya, then dismissed Sunil Narine. After this, by dismissing Gerald Coetzee, Lungi Ngidi became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in the history of SAT20 league.
