Acclaimed Tamil star Jayam Ravi, who now goes by his real name Ravi Mohan, turned an emotional page in his life on Tuesday as he launched his ambitious new banner, Ravi Mohan Studios, in Chennai’s Teynampet.
The glittering inauguration was graced by stalwarts from the South Indian film industry, with the atmosphere charged not just with cinematic promise but also with whispers of his personal life.
During his heartfelt address, Ravi Mohan showered glowing praise on his rumoured partner Kenisha, calling her nothing short of a divine blessing. “She put together this entire show for me. No one has ever done this before. I didn’t know how many people would come today, but she made it happen. She is part of RMS, my partner in this journey.
They say God sends someone when life feels stuck – she is that gift in my life. I wish every man has a woman like Kenisha,” he declared, his words bringing tears of gratitude to her eyes.
The actor-turned-producer also unveiled his studio’s first venture – a film starring Yogi Babu, which he will direct himself. With long-term plans in mind, he expressed hopes of one day introducing his son to the big screen under this new banner.
The star-studded guest list sparkled with the presence of Shivaraj Kumar, Karthi, Sivakarthikeyan, Genelia D’Souza, SJ Suryah, Atharvaa, and Yogi Babu, among others. Fans unable to attend soaked in the grandeur through the live-streamed broadcast.
Even as the professional milestone marked a fresh chapter, Ravi’s personal life continued to make headlines.
After his temple visit to Tirupati with Kenisha earlier in the day, his estranged wife Aarti Ravi dropped a cryptic Instagram story: “You can’t fool God. You might fool others. You might even fool yourself. But you can’t fool God.”
The message, arriving amid their ongoing divorce proceedings, added yet another layer of intrigue to the unfolding saga.
