Guruvayur Devaswom said that Jasmine Jafar violated the traditions of the temple with this move and impure the pond. Therefore, darshan in the temple has been stopped from 5 am to 12 noon. Devotees will be allowed to enter the temple only after the purification ritual is completed. Officials said that during the purification ritual, there will be worship for six days, including 18 pujas and 18 Shivelis. He appealed to the devotees to follow the temporary sanctions on visiting the temple.

Devaswom Administrator Obi Arun Kumar has lodged a complaint with the temple police in this case. He says that the High Court had banned photography and videography in the restricted areas of the temple, but Jasmine Jafar violated the sanctity of the temple pond. Police also said that the case will be registered as per the instructions of the court. According to media reports, Jasmine made this video six days ago. After this, he removed this video from social media and also apologized. He said that he was not aware of the rules of the temple.
