PM Modi Gujarat Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Gujarat. During this time, the PM launched and inaugurated a total projects worth Rs 5477 crore under the ‘Developed Gujarat, Developed India’ program. The PM insisted on “Wocal for Local”.
Gujarat Development Projects 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the way to develop India goes through indigenous and self -sufficiency. He expressed confidence that in the coming time every citizen will be a part of “Vocal for Local” and adopted indigenous items. He said that in 2047, when the country completes 100 years of independence, then India will be a developed nation.
Gift of development projects worth Rs 5477 crore
- From Ahmedabad, the Prime Minister launched and inaugurated a total of Rs 5477 crore projects under the ‘Developed Gujarat, Developed India’ program. On this occasion, Governor Acharya Devvrat, Union Minister C.R. Patil and senior ministers of the state government were present.
- Ahmedabad received projects worth Rs 3125 crore. This includes the power distribution system, redevelopment of slums under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, new sub-stations and road projects.
Projects worth Rs 555 crore in Gandhinagar inaugurated
Mehsana received a gift of Rs 1796 crore. This includes railway development work, power projects and new roads.
“Also adopt self -sufficiency with festivals”
- The Prime Minister said that as soon as the enthusiasm of Ganesh festival is seen in the country, in the same way, development works in Gujarat are also starting. He urged people to buy only things made in India for decorations, gifts and other needs on festivals.
“Two Mohan’s land”
- The PM said that the land of Gujarat is of two Mohan, one Sudarshan Chakradhari Lord Shri Krishna and the other charkhari Mahatma Gandhi. Shri Krishna showed the path to protect society and nation. Gandhiji explained the path of indigenous and self -sufficiency. The Prime Minister said that today India is getting stronger by following these two routes.
Operation vermilion and India’s strength
He said that Operation Sindoor showed the whole world that India does not spare terrorists. Our army demolished the terrorist hideouts within a few minutes. This is a proof of India’s will and the bravery of the army.
Foundation of self -sufficient India
The Prime Minister said that now self -sufficiency in the country has become the foundation of development. Farmers, cattle rearers, small traders and fishermen together are advancing the country. Gujarat has contributed a lot in this – especially in the fields of animal husbandry, dairy and cooperatives. The participation of women here has strengthened the dairy industry.
Industrial development of Gujarat
The Prime Minister said that Gujarat is a big hub of manufacturing today. Railway engines and coaches are being built here, vehicles and motorcycles are being built, production of airplane parts and now transport aircraft has also started, electronic vehicles and semiconductor are towards becoming the new center of chip production. Apart from this, Gujarat is also a major exporter of textile, jewelery, medicines and vaccines.
Cleanliness and connectivity
Modi ji said that Ahmedabad was once called “Gardabad”, but now the city has got the first place in the country in cleanliness. Sabarmati River and Kankaria Talab are now being known as a tourist destination. Ahmedabad is the first World Heritage City in India. There has been a major change in connectivity in Gujarat – people are getting modern facilities from railway tracks, metro, electric buses and new roads.
Plans for the poor and middle class
He said that the government has run housing schemes to give better life to the poor and middle class. The PM Swanidhi Yojana has benefited millions of people for street vendors. In the previous years, around 250 million people have come out of poverty, and now the new middle class has become a major force of India.
Space and science
- The Prime Minister said that India showed its strength from surgical strikes, air strikes and operation vermilion. Along with this, big achievements have been achieved in the space field – Chandrayaan, Indian scientist at space station and now Gaganyaan preparations.
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel address
- The Chief Minister said that Ahmedabad has moved beyond the vision of the Prime Minister to Ahmedabad World Heritage City and has become a “Economic Power House” today. He said that Modi ji gave a new look to the politics of development and converted urbanization into opportunity.
- He said that Gujarat has received many important projects from the Prime Minister – such as bulk drug park, electric engine factory, CNG terminal, aircraft unit, semiconductor plant and hybrid renewable energy park.
- The Chief Minister said that when Gujarat will complete 75 years of its establishment in 2035, then all these projects will prove to be a milestone for the state.
