Orders to discontinue cashless treatment from 1 September 2025 have been issued by the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI). It is a large organization of hospitals providing healthcare.

Why did AHPI take such a step?
The AHPI says that these insurance companies have not made any changes in the treatment rates (tariff rates), while medical expenses are continuously increasing. In addition, companies demand non-essential documents and delay claim payments, causing problems in discharge to patients.
Big decision of 15 thousand hospitals
After the AHPI announcement, 15,000 hospitals across the country have decided to close cashless treatment facility from 1 September. The organization has also sent a notice to Care Health Insurance and sought a reply by 31 August 2025. If the reply is not received, cashless treatment facility will also be stopped for their policyholders.
Why action on Bajaj Allianj?
The AHPI alleges that Bajaj Allianz does not accept his proposal to revise the tariff rate according to medical inflation every two years. Not only this, the company also pressures to reduce the tariff rate. In addition, insurance claim settlement is delayed, which also late discharge approval. For this reason, the organization has decided to take strict steps on this company. At the same time, a notice has been sent to Care Health Insurance, a new decision can be taken on the conversation.
