Indian bikers, get ready to load your superbike with Eurogrip tyres, as the brand gets ready to dive into the Indian market by 2027. Now the riders of superbikes will not have to depend only on imported tyres from brands like Pirelli or Michelin as the tyre brand from TVS Srichakra- ‘Eurogrip’, is stepping in with its very own high-performance tyre, built in India and adapted as per global standards.
What makes this tyre special
According to Eurogrip, their new tyre will be packed with advanced technology and designed at their innovation center in Milan, Italy, which will feature their patented Quadrazone Tech, signifying better grip, stability, and performance for India’s roads and tracks.
Unlike racing-only tyres which are slick, Eurogrip’s superbike tyre will have a tread pattern, making it safe and legal for road use. While a set of similar Pirelli tyres costs nearly Rs 54,000, Eurogrip is expected to offer its alternative at a more pocket friendly price, as this tyre will be manufactured locally in Madurai and Pantnagar.
Eurogrip’s plan for the big-bike market
This new superbike tyre will sit above the current Nomad range, which already serves middleweight bikes. A pair of these currently costs around Rs 26,500, so the new superbike tyre will of course be priced higher but still well below its European rivals.
Why this matters for Indian bikers
The riders of high-performance bikes like Ducatis, Kawasakis, and Triumphs have had to rely on expensive imported tyres for years. Now Eurogrip’s move brings a made-in-India, globally developed alternative that altogether blends performance, safety, and affordability.
The road ahead
Indian superbike enthusiasts could finally have a homegrown tyre by 2027 that delivers international quality without the international price tag. If Eurogrip succeeds, it might be a significant turning point for the business as well as for India’s place in the world market for superbike accessories.
