This time there is a special coincidence of fast and festival on the 2nd Monday of Sawan. Pradosh Vrat will be observed on the second Monday of Sawan i.e. on 10th August. There is a tradition of worshiping Lord Shiva in this fast. After this, the festival of Nag Panchami will be celebrated on the coming Monday on 17th August, due to which the importance of these Mondays will be considered even more. The festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated on the last day of Sawan i.e. 28th August.
