Sawan Month Importance: Sawan, considered to be the favorite month of Lord Shiva, is a special time of faith, devotion and meditation for the devotees. Throughout this month, there is a crowd of devotees in the Shiva temples since early morning. Some do Jalabhishek and some Rudrabhishek, while many devotees observe fast on Monday and do special worship of Bholenath. According to Drik Panchang, in the year 2026, the month of Saavan will start from 30th July 2026, while it will end with Shravan Purnima on 28th August 2026.
