This spy thriller starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari has registered a strong opening in both domestic and foreign markets. As per initial trade reports, the film has earned well in India on the first day, while the worldwide collections have also been as expected. Now all eyes are on the weekend’s performance.
How much did ‘Alpha’ earn on the first day?
According to trade reports, director Shiv Rawail’s ‘Alpha’ made a business of Rs 9 crore (net) in India on the first day of its release. At the same time, the gross collection of the film in India was Rs 10.80 crore. The film grossed Rs 5 crore in overseas markets. In this way, the total gross collection of the first day worldwide reached Rs 15.80 crore. Now trade experts are eyeing the collections of Saturday and Sunday, where the film is expected to perform better.

How was the occupancy of ‘Alpha’ on the first day?
According to reports, the total occupancy of the film on the first day of its release on July 3 was 20.40 percent. Occupancy as per time was as follows –
- Morning shows: 9.92%
- Afternoon shows: 17.85%
- Evening shows: 19.69%
- Night shows: 34.15%
Interestingly, as the day progressed, the number of viewers in theaters also increased. The biggest crowd was seen in night shows.
