Levin told ABC News that he was surprised when the stolen instruments were returned to the shop. He said about this incident that it looks like a strange movie. Before leaving the shop on 22 December, a man was seen in CCTV footage hiding a mandolin under his parka jacket. He shared this footage on social media and asked for people’s help in catching the thief. This post immediately went viral. Only after this the thief brought the stolen goods back to the shop. According to reports, the value of the stolen mandolins is between $3,500 (approximately Rs 3,15,000) and $4,250 (approximately Rs 3,83,000). At the same time, the matter is not closed yet.
