– Roasted barley and gram flour – 4 tablespoons
– Cold water- 2 glasses
– Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
– Finely chopped onion- 1 teaspoon
– Finely chopped coriander-mint – 1 teaspoon
– Finely chopped green chillies – a pinch
– Roasted cumin powder- 1 tsp
– Black salt- half teaspoon
– White salt- as per taste
– Ice cubes- as per need
How to make barley syrup
To make spicy barley sherbet, first of all add 4 spoons of roasted barley and gram flour in a big vessel. After this, add some cold water to it and mix it well with a spoon. Keep in mind that this paste should be very fine, there should not be any grains in it. When the paste is mixed well, add all the water left in the jug to it. Then add black-white salt, roasted cumin powder and lemon juice and mix it well. Lastly add finely chopped onion, green chilli, mint and green coriander. Add ice cubes to cool it. Your sherbet is ready and now you can serve it by pouring it into a glass.
