Voter Adhikar Yatra: Rahul did not get permission to stay at night in Darbhanga, this step had to be taken – News Himachali News Himachali

Before the Bihar assembly elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is taking out the voter rights yatra in the state. This journey will reach Darbhanga on 26 August (Tuesday). As part of the yatra, the Jeevachghat High School campus was selected for night rest, but the district administration has refused to allow night rest in the school.

The administration says that it is an educational institution and it can cause disruption in reading. Now the night rest of the yatra will be in Fakhruddin Teacher Training College campus.

For the said site, permission was to be obtained from the Social Welfare Department, but due to lack of permission from the department, the venue has been changed to Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Teachers Training College Campus. Confirming this, Congress leader Dr. Madan Mohan Jha said that the program of the yatra will reach Darbhanga on the evening of August 26 and will rest the night.

Rahul Gandhi will reach Darbhanga on 26 August

According to the program, Rahul Gandhi’s arrival in Darbhanga is to be held on August 26 at 7 pm. Jeevachghat Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Teachers Training College Campus Campus near Darbhanga’s NH-27 is scheduled for night rest, while on August 27, the Voter Adhikar Yatra will leave from there. The yatra will leave for Muzaffarpur via NH-27 route via Gausaghat, Gangwara, Kathabari, Bhandar Chowk, Bela Mor, Bagh Mor, Kadirabad Shivdhara and Bazaar Samiti.

Prashansan did not allow night rest in school

Former Congress President cum program in -charge Madan Mohan Jha said that earlier there was a proposed program in Jeevachghat School, but administrative permission was not received. Prashansan said that this is a school, there will be difficulty in reading here. After this, this program will now be organized on Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Teachers Training College Campus and vacant land located near Jeevachghat.

Priyanka Gandhi will also be involved in the journey

Madan Mohan Jha said that Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has been expected to join the voter rights yatra. He informed that Priyanka’s proposed program is scheduled in Darbhanga. However, his schedule will be shared one day before the journey. On August 27, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin may also join the journey.

Voter Adhikar Yatra started from August 17 ‘

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi started the ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’ from Rohtas in Bihar from August 17. The purpose of this journey is to raise voice against the alleged vote theft and ensure a clean voter list. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and VIP chief Mukesh Sahni are also present in the yatra. During the visit, Rahul Gandhi is constantly targeting the Central Government and the Election Commission. The yatra will end with a rally of grand alliance at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on 1 September.
