A woman was gang-raped in a moving van in Faridabad. When he protested, the accused beat him brutally, due to which one of his eyes got damaged and he got 12 stitches on his face. Police have recovered the van used in the crime.
New Delhi: Faridabad gang rape victim has suffered serious injuries, say doctors. One of his eyes is completely damaged. Apart from this, there is also serious head injury. When the woman protested against the rape, the accused beat her brutally. There are also wounds caused by sharp weapons on the woman’s body. Doctors say that there is no danger to life, but there is concern about health. The van used by the accused in this case has been found. At present, Congress is making this issue a political weapon. Congress alleges that after this incident, law and order in Haryana has completely deteriorated. Just yesterday the woman was dragged into a moving van and brutally gang-raped.
The incident occurred on Monday night, when the woman was returning from her friend’s house in Sector 23 and was waiting for a train at Metro Chowk in Kalyanpuri. Two people who came in the van asked to give lift to the woman. After this, they took the vehicle towards Gurugram and raped the woman in a hilly area. The accused also raped the woman in a moving van. Police said that after the rape, the accused threw the woman on the road.
The accused kept roaming around with the woman in the van for about two and a half hours. Finally, at around 3 am in the morning, near Raja Chowk in SGM Nagar, he pushed the woman out of the van. The woman had serious injuries on her face and was bleeding. The woman tried calling her sister several times, but the call did not go through at first. Later, when the sister called back, she came to know about the incident. After this the family members reached the spot and admitted the woman to the hospital in critical condition. According to national media reports, the woman has received 12 stitches on her face.
