On January 2 i.e. Friday, the day temperature in Prayagraj can be around 16 degrees. Due to this, people will feel cold even during the day. At the same time, the minimum temperature is likely to remain below 10 degrees. During this period, cold winds will blow at a speed of 7 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert to the pilgrims for severe cold, cold wave and dense fog during the Magh Mela Prayagraj 2026. During this period, devotees have been asked to take special precautions throughout the month of January.
According to the Meteorological Department, visibility will be very low in Prayagraj on January 2 due to dense fog. During this period, visibility is likely to be 50 to 100 meters. In such a situation, drivers have been instructed to take extra caution while driving.
