There was no trace of flesh on her body, she was just alive like a breathing skeleton. Even the officers themselves were surprised to see this. This incident happened in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh. His name was Om Prakash Singh Rathore. He was a senior clerk in the Indian Railways and was living a post-retirement life. He passed away recently at the age of 70. After his wife’s death in 2016, he was living with his daughter Rashmi. But now he was found dead. The local people and officials who reached home after hearing the news of the death of the retired officer got a big shock. The reason was the condition of his daughter Rashmi. Looking at Rashmi, it seemed that she had not got food and water and was suffering from hunger, she had become a living corpse. Officials say that apart from the skeleton, there was not even a kilo of flesh in his body.
Perhaps after his wife’s death and learning the reality of the house, the maid took complete control of the house. Then he forced both of them to be cut off from the outside world for many years. He shifted them to the ground floor of the house. Only after the death of Om Prakash Singh Rathore on 29 December, his bad condition came to the fore to the world. After Om Prakash’s death, the officials who reached the spot saw that his daughter was lying like a corpse without clothes. She was completely ill, suffering from malnutrition and was not even able to get up and walk.
Police have said that the outside world did not know that this father and daughter were being tortured for almost 5 years.
