New Delhi: In a heart-wrenching incident from Gurgaon, a 28-year-old woman was gang-raped for over two hours in a moving vehicle and then thrown out of the van on the road late at night on Tuesday.
The woman is reportedly married and has three children, but she lives separately from her husband due to a domestic dispute.
She was waiting for a ride to reach home at night when the van came and stopped in front of her, tempting her to get home safely. There were two young men in the van, and they moved the vehicle towards Gurgaon Road.
The accused continued to rape her inside the van for around two-and-a-half hours. She was protesting, but the accused didn’t stop. Both men also threatened her in the vehicle.
After raping her, the accused threw her out of the moving vehicle near Raja Chowk in SGM Nagar at around 3 am. The victim was bleeding profusely as both men tortured her, and she suffered several severe facial injuries.
After the incident, the victim called her sister, and her family members immediately rushed to the spot and took her to the hospital. She was in critical condition when doctors examined her and applied 10 to 12 stitches to her face.
Now the woman’s condition is stable, but the officials haven’t recorded her statement yet. She is still in shock after the incident.
The victim’s sister filed a complaint against both men and also stated that the victim had an argument with her mother a day before the incident, around 8:30 pm, and she was going to her friend’s house.

After filing a complaint, officials reached out to the incident area and found a CCTV nearby. In the CCTV footage, the van was seen moving as other vehicles were parked in the foreground.
Both accused have been arrested, and the van used in the crime has also been recovered.
