The wedding took place at Asim Munir’s official residence near the General Headquarters (GHQ) of the Pakistan Army in Rawalpindi on 26 December. It was supposed to be a private family ceremony, but the guest list kept it from being private. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari, Deputy Prime Minister, ISI Chief and many top generals and even the President of UAE attended this wedding.
