Nayanthara’s first look as Ganga in Yash’s film Toxic is very elegant and dangerous. Vignesh Shivan is surprised to see his wife. In the new pose, the South actress is seen in the look of Lady Don.

Nayanthara’s first look in “A Toxic Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups: On December 31, Yash posted the first look of Nayanthara from his upcoming film, Geetu Mohandas’s Toxic – A Fairytale for Grown-ups. Introducing her as Ganga, it was said that this look makes her look both elegant and dangerous. Nayanthara’s first look from the film comes after the looks of Kiara Advani and Huma Qureshi.

Yash posted the first look of Nayanthara from Toxic on his social media and wrote, “Introducing Nayanthara as GANGA – a toxic angel story for grown-ups.” In the poster, she is seen walking through a door with a gun in her hand, while two men hold the door open for her, and some guards are seen standing at attention behind.

Nayanthara is wearing a black dress with a high slit and thigh-high boots, and she is looking straight at the camera. Her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, re-shared the poster on his Instagram Stories, writing “wow” with an open mouth emoji. While sharing the poster, he also posted heart-eyes and red-heart emojis, which clearly shows that he is very impressed with his wife. In a press note, the makers described Ganga as ‘a woman who makes her presence felt in the room and takes her own decisions.’

Vignesh Shivan reacted to Nayanthara’s first look

Talking about casting Nayanthara in the role of Ganga, Geetu said, “I wanted to show Nayan in a way that she had never been shown before. But as the shooting progressed, I saw how much her own personality resembled the soul of the character. It was not a copy, it was coordination. I got my Ganga, which she played brilliantly, and what is even more surprising is that I got a good friend.”

Written by Yash and Geethu and directed by Geethu, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is simultaneously shot in both Kannada and English languages, and there are plans to release dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and several other languages. Kiara is playing the character of Nadia in the film, and Huma is playing the character of Elizabeth.

It is produced by Venkat K Narayan and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Toxic is scheduled to release on March 19, 2026, the long festive weekend coinciding with Eid, Ugadi and Gudi Padwa.
